Judgment :- 1. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to implement the Resolution No.2000.5 passed by the Executive Council on 22.3.2000 and implement "One upward Movement Scheme" to the petitioners. 2. All the petitioners are employees of the first respondent University and their grievance is that they have not been given the benefit of One Upward Movement Scheme. In this regard, the Pondicherry University Non-teaching Staff Welfare Associations have given a detailed representation on 5.6.2002 to the Vice-Chancellor, Pondicherry University expressing their grievance. 3. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the case, except to direct the first respondent to consider the said representation dated 5.6.2002 on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of. This Writ Petition is ordered as above. No costs.
