Judgment :- 1. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice if the respondents are directed to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner, on 07.01.2010, relating to the mining lease, in respect of Quartz and Feldspar Minerals, to the extent of 1.57.50 Hectares, in S.F.Nos.156/2,156/7,156/8 and 156/9, in Punnam Village, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District, on merits and in accordance with law. 2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondents 2 and 3 have no objection for this Court passing such an order. 3. In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner, dated 07.01.2010, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, if it is in order and if it had not been disposed of till date. The petitioner shall furnish a copy of the application, dated 07.01.2010, to the third respondent, along with a copy of this order. The third respondent is directed to forward the same to the second respondent for taking necessary steps in accordance with the procedures established by law. 4. This Writ Petition is ordered accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
