ORDER : Swatanter Kumar, J. - Learned Additional Solicitor General, appearing for the CBI submits that a Report has been filed on behalf of CBI. Let the Registry place copy thereof on the record positively. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in response to the CBI report, he has filed an affidavit pointing out therein that certain investigations stood missed or overlooked by the CBI. The petitioner is directed to serve copy of the affidavit on all the parties within a week from today. 3. This Court wishes to deal with this matter on two independent issues; (1) passing and implementation of the directions by the Central Government, in addition to whatever have already been placed on record, to ensure proper implementation of the Act at the ground level, and (2) whether any directions are required to be made to the CBI to conduct further investigation in relation to the State of Orissa. 4. Mr. K.K. Venugopal, learned senior counsel appearing for the State of Orissa submits that as per the report of the CBI, there is hardly any fault that can be found with the working of the Act in the State of Orissa, and whatever shortfalls are presently traced, they shall be put to remedy and a proper affidavit to that effect will be filed within two weeks from today. 5. Let the matter stand over till 15th October, 2012. 6. In the meanwhile, the CBI is at liberty to file its reply, if any, to the affidavit filed by the petitioner in response to its report. 7. All the parties are at liberty to file additional documents/affidavits if any, in the meanwhile. I.A.NO. 7 8. Issue notice. 9. Learned counsel appearing for the State of U.P. may file reply, if any, within three weeks from today. 10. The Union of India is also at liberty to file its reply, if any. 11. Let this I.A. be listed along with the Writ Petition on 15th October, 2012.
