JUDGMENT Mr. Jasbir Singh, ACJ.: (Oral) - This petition has been filed with a prayer for grant of parole for four weeks on the ground that marriage of the petitioner is fixed on 7.7.2012. 2. The prayer of the petitioner was declined by the competent authority by stating that for the above said purpose, emergency parole cannot be granted. The marriage is fixed for 7.7.2012. Such like applications should have been moved before fixing the date of marriage and further the said purpose cannot be treated as an emergency for grant of parole. Furthermore, there is no provision to grant parole for marriage of a convict in the Punjab Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1962 . Dismissed. ---------0.B.S.0------------
