Judgment :- 1. Heard Mr.S.Thirvenkataswamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Sundareswaran, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the second respondent. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that he would make a pre-deposit of Rs.1,50,000/-, before the second respondent. He had further submitted that, on such pre-deposit being made, this Court may direct the first respondent to hear the Appeal, in Appeal No.380/2011 (MST) and pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period. 3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the second respondent has no objection for this Court passing such an order. 4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to make a pre- deposit of Rs.1,50,000/-, before the second respondent, within a period of six weeks from today. On such pre-deposit being made, the first respondent shall hear and dispose of the Appeal filed by the petitioner, in A.No.380/2011(MST), on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks thereafter. 5. The Writ Petition is ordered accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed
