JUDGMENT 1. Seeking a direction to the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, to dispose of the case in C.C. No. 12546 of 2008 within a stipulated time, the Petitioner has come up with this Original Petition. 2. It is needless to point out that there are several hundreds of cases pending before the said Court. The said case in C.C. No 12546 of 2008 is only of the year 2008. It is for the learned Magistrate to have an effective Court management to dispose of the cases pending before him. This Court cannot issue such a direction treating this case as a special case and to dispose of the same within a time frame. In my considered opinion, it is for the learned Magistrate to regulate his own proceeding to dispose of the cases pending before him. 3. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
