Judgment :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsels appearing for the respondents. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that the proposal to locate the Tamilnadu State Marketing Corporation Shop No.4385 at Plot No.8, V.G.P.Pushpa Nagar, Medavakkam, Chennai, had been dropped based on the request made by the petitioner Association, as well as the members of the general public, and based on the adverse report submitted by the police officers concerned, stating that the location of the Tamilnadu State Marketing Corporation Shop in the locality concerned, is likely to cause law and order problems. 3. In view of the said submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents, since, no further orders are necessary, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
