Judgment : 1. The present Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondent Corporation as arbitrary and illegal in dismissing the petitioner from service, through Proceedings No.P1/248(1)/06-Medak Depot, dt. 28.04.2008, on the premise that he contested as Surpanch in the Gram Panchayat Selections held during the month of July/August, 2006, without tendering resignation, especially after continuing the petitioner in service after the elections for a period of 14 months. 2. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the issue raised in this Writ Petition is squarely covered by the order of this Court in W.P.No.10533 of 2008, dt.07.11.2013. 3. Following the aforesaid order and for the reasons recorded therein, the P1/248(1)/06-Medak Depot, dt. 28.04.2008 removing the petitioner from service, is set aside. 4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is allowed directing the APSRTC to reinstate the petitioner with continuity of service with all statutory benefits. No order as to costs. In view of the disposal of the Writ Petition, the Miscellaneous applications, pending if any, stall stand closed.
