Judgment M. Jaichandren, J. 1. This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to direct the respondents to produce the detenue, namely, Nithya, the daughter of the petitioner, before this Court and to hand over the custody of the detnue to him. 2. Today, when the matter was listed for hearing, the petitioner, and the detenue were present in the Court. On enquiry, the detenue had stated that she had gone away from home, as she had a quarrel with her parents. She had further submitted that she is willing to go with the petitioner to live with her parents, at Chellandipalayam, which is her native village. 3. In such circumstances, this Court is of the view that the detenue was not in the illegal custody of any one, as alleged by the petitioner in the present Habeas Corpus Petition. As no further orders are necessary, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. It is made clear that it is open to the detenue to live with the petitioner, who is her father, at Chellandipalayam, as per her wish.
