JUDGMENT 1. At this stage of the hearing of the contempt petition the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents had placed before this court a government order, in G.O.(D) No.111, Health and Family Welfare (Z2) Department, dated 5.2.2013. From the said government order, it is noted that the State government had sanctioned a sum of Rs.4,27,653/-, towards interest for the belated payment of terminal benefits to the petitioner, pursuant to the order passed by this court, on 5.7.2012, in W.P.No.26133 of 2011. The break up details of the interest sanctioned by the State government, as per the government order, in G.O.(D) No.111, Health and Family Welfare (Z2) Department, dated 5.2.2013, has also been produced before this court. A copy of the said break up details of the interest sanctioned by the government order, in G.O.(D) No.111, Health and Family Welfare (Z2) Department, dated 5.2.2013, had also been given to the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. 2. In such circumstances, this court is of the view that no further orders are necessary in the present contempt petition. Hence, the contempt petition stands closed. However, it is made clear that it would be open to the petitioner to challenge the government order, in G.O.(D) No.111, Health and Family Welfare (Z2) Department, dated 5.2.2013, with regard to the calculation of the interest payable to the petitioner, for the belated payment of terminal benefits, if so advised, in the manner known to law.
