Judgment Surya Kant, J. The petitioner impugns the notifications dated 9.8.2002 and 8.8.2003 issued under Sections 4 & 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (for short 'the Act') respectively, to the extent of acquisition of his land measuring 12½ Marlas comprised in Rect. No. 105 and 106, situated at Patti Kaisth Seth, Kaithal, which he purchased vide registered sale deed dated 21.3.2001. 2. While admitting the writ petition, it was noticed by this Court that the subject land was a vacant plot. The only grievance made by the petitioner was that adjoining houses of Tek Chand and Jaimal Singh have been released from acquisition, hence the dispossession of the petitioner was also stayed on 31.5.2005. 3. Learned State counsel has produced the original record to show that the petitioner has voluntarily accepted the compensation of the acquired land vide voucher No. 745972 dated 19.9.2012. 4. In view of the fact that the petitioner is said to have received compensation without any objection, nothing remains to be challenged in this writ petition. The same is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. If there is any error in the statement made by State counsel, we grant liberty to the petitioner to seek revival of the writ petition.
