JUDGMENT S. Nagamuthu, J. 1. The petitioner is the wife of one Mr. Kannan, aged 26 years. According to the petitioner, her husband has been found missing from 01.11.2012. Thereafter, he has not been seen. In this regard, she made a complaint on 3.12.2012 before the second respondent. Her grievance is that no action has been taken on the said complaint and her husband has not been secured. 2. When the Habeas Corpus Petition was taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint of the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.1238 of 2012 for “man missing” and the same is under investigation. 3. In respect of the missing of the husband of the petitioner, a case has been registered and the same is under investigation. Therefore, no further orders can be issued in favour of the petitioner. The Habeas Corpus Petition is liable to be dismissed except making it clear that the second respondent shall continue to investigate the matter expeditiously. 4. With the above observation, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
