Order: 1. The petitioners have filed the writ petitions, seeking for a direction to the respondents to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioners dated 05.12.2012 to grant the scale of pay on par with their juniors. 2. Heard both sides. 3. The petitioners seek higher scale of pay on the ground that their juniors were given higher scale. But their juniors are now in the promoted post. Without questioning the promotion given to their juniors, the petitioners cannot claim the scale of pay on par with their juniors, who are in the promoted post. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioners sought to withdraw the writ petitions with liberty to challenge the promotion given to the juniors of the petitioners. 4. Accordingly, the writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the promotion given to their juniors. No costs.
