JUDGMENT S. Nagamuthu, J. 1. The petitioner is the wife of one Manikandan, aged 30 years. According to her, her husband has been missing from 12.11.2012 onwards. In this regard, she made a complaint also. But, according to her, no steps had been taken. Therefore, she has come up with this petition. 2. When this Habeas Corpus Petition is taken up for today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that a complaint was registered in Cr.No.288 of 2012 for 'man missing' and the case is under investigation. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would further submit that the investigation is going on in the right direction and earnest steps are being taken by the respondent police to trace the detenue. 3. In view of the above, no relief could be granted to the petitioner in this Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed, however, with observation that the first respondent shall expedite the investigation and trace out the missing man.
