Judgment S. Nagamuthu, J. 1. The petitioner is the husband of one Pandimeena, aged 19 years. The fourth respondent is the father of Mrs. Pandimeena. According to the petitioner, Mrs. Pandimeena has been detained illegally by the fourth respondent. With these allegations, the petitioner has come up with the present Habeas Corpus Petition. 2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the detenu is present along with the fourth respondent. On enquiry, the detenu would state that she has not been detained illegally by the fourth respondent. As a matter of fact, according to her, the petitioner ill-treated her and committed all sorts of cruelty and then, pushed out of matrimonial home. That is how, according to her, she is living with the fourth respondent. The said statement is recorded. 3. In view of the above, there is no illegal detention. Therefore, this Habeas Corpus Petition deserves to be dismissed. Accordingly, the same is dismissed.
