JUDGMENT :- M. Jaichandren, J. 1. This habeas corpus petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to produce his wife namely, Indumathi, aged about 25 years before this Court and to hand over her custody to him. 2. The petitioner has claimed that the detenue, namely, Indumathi, is his legally wedded wife. He had stated that the second and third respondents, who are her parents, are keeping the detenue under illegal custody. 3. Today, when the matter has been listed for hearing, the detenue had appeared before this Court. On enquiry, the detenue had stated that she is, living with her parents at present, the second and third respondents herein, at Kumarapalayam, in Namakkal District. She had elicited that she would like to continue to live with her parents, at Kumarapalayam, in Namakkal District. She is not willing to go along with the petitioner. 4. In such circumstances, the detenue is permitted to go along with her parents, the second and third respondents herein, as per her wish. 5. In view of the above, since no further orders are necessary, the habeas corpus petition stands closed.
