Judgment :- S. Nagamuthu, J. 1. The petitioner is the husband of one Mrs. Bhuvaneswari, aged 36 years. The marriage between them was celebrated in the year 2007. They have got a female child also. In the year 2011, it is alleged that the petitioner had gone abroad on account of his job. It is alleged that during that time, the detenue developed illicit intimacy and eloped with the second respondent. On returning from abroad, the petitioner went in search of his wife but he could not trace her. With these allegations, he has made a complaint to the first respondent police on 10.10.2012. His grievance is that so far, the detenue has not been traced by the first respondent. 2. In our considered opinion, even from the allegations made in the affidavit, we do not find anything to suggest that there is any illegal detention. It is simple a case of elopement of the detenue with the second respondent as it is stated in the affidavit. The first respondent is also investigating the matter. Therefore, no orders are necessary in this matter except making it clear that the first respondent shall continue to investigate the matter. The Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed, accordingly.
