Judgment :- 1. The prayer in this writ petition is seeking for a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2008 and to implement the decision of the Peace Committee Meeting held on 12.07.2008. 2. Now it is represented by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 7 that subsequent to the Peace Committee Meeting held on 12.07.2008, another Peace Committee Meeting was held on 28.07.2008, at the Office of the District Collector, Dindigul and both the parties took part in the Peace Committee Meeting and they have arrived at a compromise which has been recorded through the proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Dindigul. 3. It is also stated by the learned Counsel appearing for the parties, that the issue was in respect of the festival to be conducted during the month of July 2008 and in view of the fact that, the subsequent Peace Committee Meeting was held on 28.07.2008 which also resulted in arriving at a compromise between the parties, nothing survives in this writ petition further to be adjudicated upon. 4. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
