JUDGMENT :- R. Banumathi, J. These writ appeals arise out of the Common Order dated 3.8.2011 made in W.P.Nos.350 and 9890 of 1995, which reads as under: "At the request of the counsel for the appellants, time is granted by a week to get the respondents served, having regard to the fact that the appeals are of the year 2001 and pending on the file without even getting the respondents served. If the respondents are not served within the time granted, the appeals would automatically stands dismissed without any further reference to this Court." Inspite of the above direction, no steps had been sofar taken by the appellants to serve the respondents. Therefore, as observed in the earlier order dated 31.08.2009, the writ appeals are dismissed. However, there is no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
