Judgment : The Court: Advocate for the State has submitted under instructions that the petitioner’s grievances have been referred to the Joint Secretary of the Municipal Affairs Department, Government of West Bengal for an appropriate decision. The petitioner in this W P under art.226 of the Constitution of India dated January 29, 2013 is alleging that though he is entitled to pay given to the other Sub-assistant Engineers, he has not been given the benefit. In view of the above-noted situation, I dispose of the W P directing the Joint Secretary concerned to see that the appropriate authority decides the petitioner’s grievances within eight weeks from the date this order is served. He shall send the decision to all concerned without any delay. No costs.
