ORDER This Contempt Petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to punish the respondents for having disobeyed the order passed by this Court, on 22.6.2012, in W.P.No.14321 of 2011. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the Contempt Petition, Ms.V.M.Velumani, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondent, had submitted that the orders of this Court, dated 22.6.2012, made in W.P.No.14321 of 2011, had been complied with, by the respondent, by passing an order in favour of the petitioner, by way of G.O.Ms.No.444, Home [Prison-2] Department, dated 3.7.2013. As per the said Government Order, Rules 2[e], 4[a] and 6 of the Tamil Nadu Jail Subordinate Services Rules, had been relaxed in favour of the petitioner. Consequently, the petitioner had been appointed as a Female Grade II Warder, in the Prison Department. 3. The learned Special Government Pleader had also placed a copy of the said Government Order, dated 3.7.2013, before this Court. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had not refuted the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent. In such circumstances, as no further orders are necessary, the Contempt Petition stands closed. No costs.
