Judgment : 1. On going through the relief sought for by the petitioner in the present Writ of Mandamus, this Court opines that the petitioner has sought for issuance of an order by this Court directing the respondents to restrict the admission of candidates who applied with marks obtained in improvement examinations to a maximum of 25% of total seats in the admissions for medical and dental colleges for year 2005. 2. It comes to be known that the petitioner in W.P.M.P. No. 19797 of 2005 has sought for the relief of injunction restraining the respondents from declaring the results for the selected candidates for admission into Medical and Dental Colleges for the year 2005 pending disposal of the Writ Petition and this Court, on 29.6.2005, has not granted the interim injunction as prayed for by the petitioner and dismissed the Miscellaneous Petition. Inasmuch as the relief sought for by the petitioner in the Writ Petition as stated supra, has become infructuous one (due to efflux of time), the present Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
