Judgment : 1. The Petitioner has preferred the instant Writ of Mandamus praying for issuance of an order by this Court directing the First Respondent / Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Dindigul, to convene timing conference in respect of his bus TN-57 / 4734, since replaced by bus TN57 / F-3351 plying on the route Dindigul to Madurai to implement the variation conditions to the permit granted by the Regional Transport Authority, Madras in proceedings in R. No. 16011/A3/87 dated 29.01.1987 by the State Transport Appellate Tribunal, Madras in Appeal No. 232/87 dated 19.8.1987. 2. The stand of the Government is that the Government issued notices to all the Regional Transport Authorities to convene timings conference and implement the pending variations on or before 30.5.2005. 3. The grievance of the Petitioner is that if his name is not included in the timing conference to be held on 02.6.2005, he will be put to irreparable loss and prejudice. Inasmuch as the prayer sought for by the Writ Petitioner to include his name in the timing conference to be held on 02.6.2005 has become infructuous one (due to efflux of time), the present Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
