JUDGMENT 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents. 2. This Writ Petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents 1 and 2 to permit the students of the petitioner School, namely, [i] D.Arunkumar, [ii] M.Arunkumar, [iii] M.Muthuvel, and [iv] M.Vignesh, to write the X Standard Matriculation Examination, which had commenced, on 27.3.2013, as private candidates. 3. While hearing the Writ Petition, this Court had passed an order, on 26.3.2013, which reads as follows:- "I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2. There shall be an order of interim direction permitting the students of the petitioner School to write the 10th Standard examination privately in the nearby school chosen by the respondent Department. However, the results of these examinations will be withheld until further orders." Accordingly, all the four students had been permitted to write the X Standard Matriculation Examination, privately, in the nearby School, chosen by the respondent Department. However, this Court had stated that the results of examination written by the said students, would be withheld, until further orders are passed by this Court. 4. Today, when the Writ Petition was listed for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader had placed before this Court, a communication, dated 2.8.2013, issued by the 3rd respondent. In the said communication, it has been stated that the Education Department does not have any objection for the declaration of the results of the examination written by the aforementioned students, on whose behalf the writ petition had been filed. 5. In view of the said communication, dated 2.8.2013, issued by the 3rd respondent, and in view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents that an order could be passed by this Court, directing the 2nd respondent to declare the results of the examination written by the students concerned, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to declare the results of the X Standard Matriculation Examination, written by [i] D.Arunkumar, [ii] M.Arunkumar, [iii] M.Muthuvel, and [iv] M.Vignesh, pursuant to the order passed by this Court, on 26.3.2013, forthwith. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
