Judgment : 1. Heard Mr.V.Kasinatha Bharathi, the learned counsel appearing on behalf the petitioner, Mr.P.Karthikeyan, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, and Mrs.Hema Murali Krishnan, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the fourth respondent. 2.Though the prayer sought by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.12.2010, sent to the second respondent, is directed to be disposed of, on merits, within a specified period. 3. The learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents, have no objection for such an order being passed by this Court. 4. Considering the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.12.2010, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the parties concerned, within a period ofeight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish to the second respondent a copy of the representation, dated 16.12.2010, along with a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
