JUDGMENT : R. Banumathi, J. 1. Appellant is represented by Mr.S.Gomathinayagam, learned Additional Advocate General appearing along with Mr.C.Kasirajan, learned counsel. Respondent No.7 in W.A.No.1762/2000 and Respondent No.2 in W.A.Nos.1763 to 1765/2000 are represented by Mr.P.S.Sivashanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader. 2. All these writ appeals are preferred by the Tamil Nadu Housing Board against the common order of the learned Single Judge dated 7.7.2000 made in W.P.Nos.4588 of 1999 and 4079 to 4081 of 2000, setting aside the seniority list of Assistant Executive Engineers, dated 28.5.1991. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the contesting respondents submitted that the contesting respondents were already retired on higher post on attaining the age of superannuation long ago and they have also availed the retirement benefits including pension. Since the contesting respondents were retired on higher post and are continuing to receive the retirement benefits in the higher position, all these writ appeals are closed, as no further orders are required. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
