Arvind Kumar Tripathi, J:- Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel and perused the record. 2. By means of present writ petition the prayer is to issue writ of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to release the employer provident fund (EPF) and to pay the same. 3. Case of the petitioner is that U.P. State Cement Corporation was originally functioning as an undertaking of U.P. State Govt. and later on it was converted into public limited company. The establishment of respondent no.1 was meant for regulating production and sale of cement. The petitioner was appointed on 28.2.1970 at Churk and Dala Cement Factory, Mirzapur. The employees provident was deducted. The number of provident fund is 4427 and payment claim no.C-2314. After winding up the factory the petitioner became a retrenched employee from the date of winding up of factory. Hence EPF was to be paid to him. However, the same has not been paid as yet.Considered the submission. As far as the payment of EPF is concerned, if adviced, petitioner may approach the authority concerned. If representation is moved before the authority concerned within two weeks from today along-with certified copy of this order, respondent no.2 is expected to considered the same, within reasonable period, expeditiously by reasoned and speaking order. Accordingly, present writ petition is disposed off. _________________
