Judgment : 1. The prayer in this writ petition is seeking to direct the respondents to effect new electricity service connection to the property bearing Door No.48, Anandhanayaki Nagar, 2nd Cross Street, C.B. Road, Chennai 600 021. 2. When the matter was listed on 11.09.2013, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner wanted time to ascertain the present position. Accordingly, it is posted today for further hearing. Today also, the learned counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to tell the Court whether the electricity service connection was effected or not. On the other hand, the learned counsel appearing for the Electricity Board submits that the electricity service connection to the petition mentioned property has already been effected. 3. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
