Judgment : 1. The prayer in the writ petition which is the transferred O.A.No.26 of 2003 on the file of the Tamilnadu Administrative Tribunal is seeking for a direction to the respondents to disburse the pensionary benefits admissible to the petitioner's father (late) Manickam. 2. The said O.A.No.26 of 2003 came to be filed before the Tamilnadu Administrative Tribunal in the year 2003 and the matter was transferred to this Court as the above writ petition. However, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submits that all the pensionary benefits were disbursed to the petitioner as it could be seen from the communication issued by the Superintendent of Police, Dharmapuri District through his letter dated 20.06.2011 to the Special Government Pleader wherein it is stated as follows : "Thiru.Manickam, Gr.I.PC.752/D was allowed to retire on 30.04.1997 on superannuation and the PC expired on 02.11.2002. The pension payment order No.322/D/Pol has been sent to District Treasury, Dharmapuri on 02.03.2001 and the pension proposal was sent to AG, Chennai vide this office letter No.G3/29599/2000 dated 04.01.2001 and the same was admitted by the Accountant General, Chennai in his letter C.No.AG/A&E/Pen/5/M107/915/RTD/2001-02/RAO 1126/1661 dated 07.12.2001 and the details of pensionary benefits admitted by the Accountant General, Chennai are furnished as follows. (Copy enclosed) 1. Pension : Rs.2,238 with effect from 01.05.1997 2. DCRG : Rs.73,838/- 3. Family Pension : Rs.1,343/- 4. CVP : Rs.81,411/- 5. GPF : Rs.71,985/- for kind information. 3. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
