Judgment : 1. The writ petition is the transferred O.A.No.3559 of 2002 from the Tamilnadu Administrative Tribunal. The relief sought for in this writ petition is for promotion of the petitioner to the post of Head Clerk. 2. It is now represented by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 that already, the petitioner was promoted by proceedings of the Director of Town Panchayat dated 14.08.2006 as Executive Officer of Town Panchayat. Thus, from the proceedings of the Director of Town Panchayat, it is seen that the petitioner's request for promotion to the post of Head Clerk was already given and thereafter, further promotion was also given to the petitioner by the above said proceedings. 3. Considering the said submission of the learned Special Government Pleader and recording the same, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
