Judgment : 1. The prayer in the writ petition which is transferred O.A.No.3 of 2003 on the file of the Tamilnadu Administrative Tribunal is for a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2002, seeking for disbursement of the terminal benefits. 2. It is the case of the petitioner that he joined service as Bill Collector and he was promoted as Attender and thereafter, promoted as Junior Assistant and attained the age of superannuation on 28.02.2001. Though he made several representations for disbursement of terminal benefits, the same were not considered by the respondent. Therefore, he made a representation on 16.04.2002 finally. That was not considered by the respondent so far. Therefore, the present writ petition is filed. 3. There is no appearance for the respondent. As the limited prayer in this writ petition is seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2002, without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, I only direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2002 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order if the representation is not disposed of already. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
