Judgment : M. Venugopal, J. 1. The Petitioner (Mother of the Detenue) has preferred the present Writ of Habeas Corpus Petition, praying for issuance of an order of this Court, in directing the Respondents 1 and 2, to produce the body or person of her daughter Starlin Jana, aged 20 years, before this Court and set her at liberty. 2. Today, the Detenue namely, Statlin Jana is produced before this Court by the second respondent police, the Inspector of Police, Kanyakumari Police Station. This Court made an enquiry with the Detenue Starlin Jana and she informed that she got married to one Isakkimuthu @ Raja on 03.07.2013 and the said marriage was conducted by 'Love Marriage Forum' and from the date of marriage, she is living with her husband, who is working as a container lorry driver. According to her, she is aged about 24 years and she is a Major. Further, she informs that she is willing to go along with her Husband Isakkimuthu @ Raja and she is not willing to go with the petitioner. 3. In view of the fact that the Detenue Starlin Jana is a Major and also this Court, taking note of the fact that the Petitioner's marriage had taken place with one Issakimuthu @ Raja on 03.07.2013 and presently living with him, recording the same, this Court permits the Detenue to go along with her Husband Isakimuthu @ Raja. 4. With these observations, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. No costs.
