Judgment : M. Jaichandren, J. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the fourth respondent. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 had stated that, if the petitioner approaches the third respondent, for the suverying of the land in question, along with an appropriate application and on payment of the necessary fee, the third respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon. 3. In view of the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, we make it clear that it would be open to the petitioner to approach the third respondent, with a request to survey the land in question in the prescribed format, if any, by paying the appropriate fee for the said purpose. On the petitioner approaching the third respondent, by fulfilling the necessary formalities, the said respondent shall consider the application and pass appropriate orders thereon, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the other persons concerned, if any. 4. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
