JUDGMENT 1. The petitioners/A1 and A3 are charged in respect of an alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 341, 323, 324, 506(i) of I.P.C. r/w. 3(1)(x) of Scheduled Caste and Schedeule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the learned III Additional Sessions Judge (Protection of Civil Rights), Madurai to consider their bail application preferably on the same day and to pass orders on merits. 3. Inasmuch as the petitioners have made a limited prayer for issuance of direction by this Court to the learned III Additional Sessions Judge (Protection of Civil Rights), Madurai to consider their bail application etc., this Court on the basis of equity, fair play, good sense and even as a matter of prudence, directs the petitioners to surrender before the trial Court within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such surrender, if they file necessary bail applications, the learned III Additional Sessions Judge (Protection of Civil Rights), Madurai is directed to consider the said applications preferably on the same day, of course after providing due opportunities to the other side. With these directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
