JUDGMENT 1. The prayer in this writ petition is seeking for a mandamus, directing the respondent to serve a copy of the order of appointment or appropriate proceedings in connection with the selection of Dean (College Development Council) in the respondent University, by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 31.08.2007. 2. The only relief sought for in this writ petition is seeking for a direction to the respondent to serve the copy of appointment or appropriate proceedings in connection with the selection of Dean (College Development Council) in the respondent University. 3. It appears that seeking for such relief, the petitioner had already approached the respondent University by way his representation, dated 31.08.2007. Therefore, it is for the respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. 4. Therefore, without going into the merits of the matter, I only direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 31.08.2007 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
