Judgment 1. The Petitioner has projected the present instant Writ of Mandamus praying for an issuance of order by this Court in directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 03.12.2012 to issue patta in respect of property being Ayan Punjai Agricultural lands situated at Chinna Valavanur Village comprised in Survey No.17/1 measuring to an extent of 0.63 Cents out of 1.50 Acres in favour of the petitioner. 2. It comes to be known that the Petitioner has given a representation on 30.10.2012 to the First Respondent/Tahsildar, Tindivanam Taluk, Tindivanam, Villupuram District, along with relevant documents and sought for issuance of patta in his favour in respect of the agricultural lands situated at Chinna Valavanur Village comprised in Survey No.17/1 measuring to an extent of 0.63 Cents out of 1.50 Acres. According to him he has paid necessary measurement charges. He has also submitted another representation dated 03.12.2012 through the Second Respondent/Village Administrative Officer, Chinna Valavanur Village, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District, through registered post with acknowledgment due. Although, the acknowledgment was received by him, till date no positive action has been taken by the Respondents in respect of his request for issuance of patta. Also,no reply has been sent to his representations dated 30.10.2012 and 03.12.2012 respectively. 3. Inasmuch as the prayer of the Writ Petitioner in the Writ Petition is limited in nature to consider his representation dated 03.12.2012, in regard to the issuance of patta in respect of the property being Ayan Punjai Agricultural lands situated at Chinna Valavanur Village comprised in Survey No.17/1 measuring to an extent of 0.63 Cents out of 1.50 Acres, in his favour, this Court in the interest of justice and fair play directs the First Respondent/Tindivanam Taluk, Tindivanam, Villupuram District to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 03.12.2012 in an objective and in a fair manner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Before that the Petitioner is directed to submit a fresh copy of the representations dated 30.10.2012 and 03.12.2012 to the First Respondent/Tahsildar, Tindivanam Taluk, Tindivanam, Villupuram District, for taking necessary action, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
