JUDGMENT 1. The prayer in this writ petition is seeking for a mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to permit the petitioner to participate in the interview for the post of Driver-cum-Conductor in the first respondent Corporation and appoint him in the said post. 2. At the time of admitting the writ petition, this court by way of an interim order, directed the respondents 1 to 3 to interview the petitioner for the post of Driver/Conductor. As the petitioner had obtained the relief, even by way of the interim order from this court, I find nothing survives in the main writ petition to be adjudicated upon. If the petitioner had become successful in the interview, he would have got appointment from the hands of the first respondent. Therefore, the consequential prayer of seeking appointment to the post of Driver/Conductor does not arise at this stage. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
