Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent. 2. There is no appearance on behalf of the first respondent. 3. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners had submitted that it would suffice if the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioners, dated 14.3.2008, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period. 4. In view of the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioners, dated 14.3.2008, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners are directed to furnish a copy of the representation, dated 14.3.2008, to the first respondent, along with the copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the matter. The Writ Petition is ordered, accordingly. The connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
