Judgment : No one appears in support of the revisional application, when the matter is called on. The petitioners have prayed for quashing of G.R. Case No. 1979/12 pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Howrah arising out of Shibpur Police Station Case No. 292/12 dated March 29, 2012 under Sections 341/323/225/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It has been alleged in the impugned charge-sheet that the petitioners had subjected the victim to assault resulting in severe injuries for which she had been admitted to Howrah State General Hospital. Prima facie, there are materials in support of the alleged incident of assault. Accordingly, I am of the considered view that no case for interference at this stage has been made out. Petitioners, however, are at liberty to raise issues canvassed in the revisional application at the appropriate stage of proceeding. The revisional application is disposed of.
