Judgment 1. The prayer in this writ petition is seeking for a Mandamus directing the first respondent to release the project fund in respect of Melnilaipatti – Nedungudi Road for the bridge construction work under the self sufficiency scheme to the fourth respondent for disbursement to the appropriate claimants. 2. It appears that the petitioner by seeking for such relief, already approached the first respondent by way of a representation, dated 08.12.2009. It is now stated by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the said representation made by the petitioner is still pending before the first respondent and they have not disposed of. If that being the case, it is for the first respondent to consider the said representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits. Therefore, without going into the other claim made by the petitioner, I only direct the first respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 08.12.2009 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
