JUDGMENT 1. The prayer in this writ petition is seeking for a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to promote the petitioner in the post of Tamil Pandit in the second respondent school. 2. Even from the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it is seen that the fourth respondent has already been appointed as Tamil Pandit at the second respondent school and such appointment was also subsequently approved by the first respondent. If that be the position, the present writ petition is not maintainable without challenging the order of appointment made in favour of the fourth respondent and consequential approval granted by the first respondent. Therefore, without going into the other merits of the matter, I only dispose this writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the appointment of the fourth respondent in a separate proceedings. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
