JUDGMENT 1. The prayer in this writ petition is seeking for a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to draw integrated seniority list of Primary School Headmasters, B.T. Assistants and Tamil Pandits for including the name of the petitioner in that panel as petitioner qualified B.Lit., Degree qualification before the crucial date of 31.05.2010 and then to consider petitioner's promotion by drawing the panel for 2010-2011. 2. Though notice of motion was ordered on 20.07.2010, till this date no counter affidavit filed by the respondents. 3. It appears from the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition that the petitioner has made repeated representations to the respondents seeking for the very same relief as sought for in this writ petition. It is seen that last of such representation was made on 15.05.2010. Since the said representation made by the petitioner to the first respondent sent through the second respondent is said to be still pending and not disposed of, without going into the other merits and rival contention of the respective parties, I only direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.05.2010, and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
