JUDGMENT 1. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners to direct the respondents, to pass orders regularising the service of the father of the 2nd petitioner, from 2.6.1976 to 3.7.2007, notionally, and to pay his retirement benefits, along with the arrears of family pension, from 3.7.2007, with interest at 18% per annum. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners had submitted that it would suffice, if this Court passes an order, permitting the petitioners to submit a detailed representation, regarding the claims made by them, to the 2nd respondent, within a specified period, and if the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law. 3. Learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents has no objection for this Court passing such an order. 4. In view of the above, the petitioners are permitted to submit a detailed representation to the second respondent, with regard to their claims, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the second respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter. The writ petition is ordered accordingly. No costs. M.P.No.1 of 2011 is closed.
