Judgment :- 1. This writ petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.1.2013. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent had submitted that, based on the representation made by the petitioner, a notice had been issued to the second respondent, with regard to the alleged building violation. A communication, dated 28.1.2013, had also been issued by the first respondent to the President, Pozhichalur Panchayat, to take appropriate action against the second respondent, if the second respondent had constructed the building violating the rules and regulations applicable to such construction. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent had further submitted that the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (Enforcement Cell), had issued a communication, dated 21.1.2013, stating that the construction by the second respondent is in deviation of the approved plans. Therefore, the second respondent had been asked to stop the construction work, with immediate effect and to confirm in writing the fact of having done so, within thirty days from the date of receipt of the notice, dated 21.1.2013. 4. The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent had also placed the said communications before this Court. 5. In such circumstances, in view of the fact that the first respondent and the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (Enforcement Cell) had taken appropriate action, based on the representations made by the petitioner, this Court is of the view that no further orders are necessary, at this stage. Hence, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Connected M.P.No.1 of 2013 is closed.
