JUDGMENT 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, as well as the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that the Town Survey No.4/1 Part, in Kodambakkam Village, Chennai, said to be belonging to the petitioners, is not part of the land acquisition proceedings initiated by the second respondent, by way of the notice, dated 14.12.2010, issued under Section 15(2) of the Tamilnadu Highways Act, 2001, covered in the award, dated 19.10.2012, in Award No.3/12. It has been further stated that the notice, dated 14.12.2010, had been wrongly issued by the second respondent showing Town Survey No.4/1 part, instead of showing Town Survey No.4/2. 3. In view of the said submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents and in view of the similar averments made in the counter affidavit filed by the second respondent, dated 3.1.2013, this court is of the view that no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition. Hence, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
