Ajay Kumar Mittal, J.;— 1. This petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed seeking directions to respondents No.4 to 8 not to harass or interfere in the married life of the petitioners. Further direction is sought to respondents No.1 to 3 not to register any FIR at the instance of respondents No.4 to 8. 2. According to the averments made in the petition, the marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 26.6.2013 as per Hindu Vedic rites in a Mandir at Ludhiana. A copy of the representation dated 26.6.2013 (Annexure P-4) addressed to the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana-respondent No.2 has also been appended. 3. On a query being put to the learned counsel for the petitioners as to on which date the representation was submitted to respondent No.2 and how the averments made in the petition were substantiated with regard to the receiving of threats from respondents No.4 to 8, no concrete reply in proof thereof could be furnished by the learned counsel. 4. It appears to be a device for getting a certificate in the form of an order from this Court regarding the alleged marriage having taken place between the petitioners. The photographs (Annexure P-3) do not depict that the essential requirements for performance of a valid Hindu marriage as envisaged under the provisions of Sections 5 and 7 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 have taken place. 5. In view of the above, no ground for grant of relief of protection as claimed in the petition is made out. The petition is accordingly dismissed.
