JUDGMENT 1. This writ petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents and others from, in any manner, interfering with the running of the bunk shop, by the petitioner, in site No.159, Greams Road, Thousand Lights, Chennai. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 had submitted that no licence had been given to the petitioner to run a bunk shop, at site No.159, Greams Road, Thousand Lights, Chennai. He had also placed a communication from the Executive Engineer, zone-IX, Corporation of Chennai, stating that it is only a mobile push cart with four wheels that had been found on the foot path, near site No.159, Greams Road, Thousand Lights, Chennai. 3. In the said communication, it had been further stated that, on enquiry, it was learnt that the owner of the said push cart is one Kumar, son of Rajamanikam, residing at No.30, Begam Sahib Main Street, Makkis Garden, Chennai. In such circumstances, this Court is of the view that the relief prayed for by the petitioner cannot be granted, as the petitioner has not been in a position to show that she had been granted a licence, by the Corporation of Chennai, to run the bunk shop, near site No.159, Greams Road, Thousand Lights, Chennai. As such, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed. Hence, it is dismissed. No costs. Connected M.P.No.1 of 2013 is closed.
