Judgment 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. Even though notice had been served on the 3rd respondent, who is also representing respondents 4 to 8, who are minors, and the name of the 3rd respondent having been printed in the cause list, there is no appearance on her behalf, either in person, or through a counsel. 2. In view of the limited nature of the prayer made in this writ petition, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 1.9.2009, which is said to be pending on the file of the 1st respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as well as the 3rd respondent, and other persons concerned, if any. The writ petition is ordered accordingly. No costs.
