JUDGMENT Heard Mr. P. K. Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner. This contempt application arises out of an order dated 07.06.2001 passed by the learned Single Judge in Civil Rule No.3740 of 1994. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and on perusal of the record of the case, I am afraid, I can entertain this contempt application. The fact that the order out of which this contempt application arises was not complied with for more than 15 years, secondly, the fact that it did not have any specific direction as to how much amount is to be paid by the Government etc. and lastly the vagueness in the order noticed by me does not entitle the petitioner to enforce such order though passed. In other words, taking into consideration all these factors and having regard to the nature of controversy for which the writ petition was filed, it is not possible for me to entertain this contempt application. As a consequence, the contempt application is found to be devoid of any merit. It is accordingly, dismissed. Rule nisi issued against the respondents is hereby recalled. No cost.
