ORDER : It is submitted by Shri H.S. Phukla, learned senior counsel for the petitioner that most of the States have not complied with the directions of this Court, dated 17.01.2013 and 10.05.2013. We grant time till 16.10.2014 to all the States to file appropriate affidavits inter alia indicating whether they have complied with the directions, as stated hereinbelow : Sl. No. Directions issued by Hon'ble Court. 1. Registration of all First Information Reports (FIRs) 2. No. of police stations with Police Officer designated as a Juvenile Welfare Officer 3. Appointment of para-legal volunteers 4. Presence of network of NGOs for tracing and reintegrating missing children. 5. Provision for photograph of every found/recovered child to be taken by the police. 6. Formulation of Standard Operating Procedure to handle the cases of missing children. 7. Cases handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit in each State. 8. Status reports filed by Anti-Human Trafficking Unit. 9. Registration of all First Information Reports within a month from the date of communication of this Order. 10. Shelter Homes or After-care Homes set-up by the State Government. Funds provided by the State Government Infrastructure provided by the State Government. 2. List the matter on 16.10.2014. W.P. (C) No. 301 of 2012 3. Submissions made on behalf of the petitioner are placed on record. 4. Appropriate orders will be passed in the due course.
